Keyword research plays a major role in search engine optimization. It is important to determine your optimal keywords for your web pages before optimizing your site, starting a pay-per-click campaign, submitting your web site to search engines and directories and doing any other kind of Internet marketing.

Keywords are not just for on-page optimization and meta tags; they are just as important when building links. You'll use your keywords when doing news releases, social bookmarking, web 2.0 blogging, article marketing, directory submission and more.

Targeting specific keywords or phrases in any of those marketing methods will increase the probability of your site ranking high for those targeted terms or phrases, which in turn targets your target audience who conduct the searches. So this gets back to the importance of keyword research.

With the right keywords, you'll see your traffic skyrocket. If you target the wrong keywords, all your efforts will be in vain.

I analyze what keywords are effective for your web site to generate targeted prospects.
I research relevant keywords that represent your products and services and determine what keywords your prospects are actually searching for.
I use powerful software that will tell you what keywords your prospects are actually searching for and how often.
The software will tell you what the most effective and cost-efficient key phrases are to target your audience. I'll suggest keywords and phrases based on actual searches. The first step and most important step to optimization is keyword research. If you optimize your web site for the wrong keywords, all your efforts will be in vain. That's why you must get the Keyword Research package before I can optimize your site. The optimization package includes:

Writing effective page titles and descriptions (or analyzing existing META tags) for up to 5 pages.
Rewriting strategic parts of 5 pages, optimizing each page for a specific keyword or key phrase. (You should have 5 content-rich pages).

I don't change your pages. (I can change your pages if I design the web site). I provide the code and keywords for your META tags. I also provide recommendations for text changes needed for optimization. Your web designer can apply the changes. Small changes can have a big effects on your search engine optimization.

Additional Marketing Services

Consultation and evaluations (online marketing, optimization, Web design, etc.) $100/hr.
Tutoring $75/hour.
Setting up affiliate programs. $50/hr.
Setting up shopping cart, autoresponders, email forms, subscription forms, survey forms, and bulletin boards. $50/hr.
